Output PreviewHorizontal bar chart: top 10 strikes by OI

Fetches real data from the Cayo Largo API

What You'll See

Ranks strikes by total OI in USD for near-expiry BTC options. Shows where the market has the heaviest positioning and where gamma pinning pressure is strongest.

The Trading Edge

What most people do

Manually check Deribit's OI column, one expiry at a time, with no way to rank or aggregate across strikes. Most traders never look at near-expiry OI concentration because the data is scattered across hundreds of rows.

What this gives you

A single ranked view of the heaviest strikes within 7 DTE, with USD notional, put/call breakdown, and GEX at each strike. When the top 3 strikes hold more than 40 pct of total OI, gamma pinning becomes the dominant short-term force.

Go deeper

Combine with the Gamma Pinning Map recipe to see which of these high-OI strikes are also magnetic. Link to the Cascade Events case study to see what happens when concentrated OI unwinds.
